City Council has declared a vacancy for a City Council seat for a term ending December 31, 2024.  This vacancy will be filled by an appointment from City Council, from a pool of candidates who have applied for this position.

Applicants must be:

  • At least 21 years of age upon assuming office; and
  • A resident of the City; and
  • Eligible to vote.

To apply for the City Council appointment, please submit a letter expressing your interest in this position, including:

  • Your reason for applying; and
  • How long you have been a resident of East Bethel; and
  • A brief statement of your education, training and professional experience, and
  • Describe your current involvement in the community.

It is strongly suggested that you include a current resume.

Application materials can be emailed to City Administrator Jack Davis, and must be received no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023.
