East Bethel Booster Day
East Bethel Booster Days is a long standing tradition in northern Anoka County. We are a family oriented event that celebrates the City of East Bethel and all of the people who reside here. It will be held on Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th, 2017. For more information on how to participate or volunteer for next years Booster days, check out the Booster Days Committee Meeting Schedule or contact the coordinator of events: Denise Lachinski by email. We are always looking for new and innovative ideas for our event! All meetings are open to the public.

Currently we are looking for a Parade Coordinator and a Vendor Market Coordinator. For more information and/or questions, contact Denise Lachinski by email.

Thank you to all crafters, merchants and food vendors for coming and helping us provide a celebration that all members of our community could enjoy!

Friday, July 15th, 2016 – Family Fun Night

Waterball
The East Bethel Fire Department Explorers held the Waterball Event at Booster Park East on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. The mayor and council members participated in this event. It was a fun event to watch!

Movie in the Park - Booster Park West
Our July 15, 2016 Movie in the Park was sponsored by Chops, Inc. This year's movie was Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens rated PG-13. Concession sales were provided by the St. Francis Youth Hockey Association. There was a drawing for Minnesota Twins tickets, donated by Eckberg Lammers, and Hakanson Anderson.  With about 85 people present, pre-movie activities began at 8:00 p.m. with a Star Wars costume contest, Wookiee Roar contest, and Star Wars trivia. The Force was with us!

Saturday, July 16th, 2016 - Family Fun Day

5K Fun Run & Walk and Kids 1K
The 8th Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk and Kids 1K was on Saturday, July 16th with more than 50 participants. Max Meyers and Emily Daniels were the first male and female to finish. Way to go everyone!

Kiddie Parade
The Booster Day Kiddie Parade was held on Saturday, July 16th with 25 kids. First place ribbons were awarded in four age categories. Treats and prizes were given to everyone who entered.

Parade
The 16th Annual Booster Day Parade was held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. It was a beautiful day for a parade and lots of candy!

Car Show
Did you see all the cool cars? There were about 35 really cool cars!

Congratulations to the 2016-2017 East Bethel Royalty who were crowned on July 16, 2016 at the Royal Masquerade Coronation! They are (from left to right):

They will spend the next year volunteering and traveling around the State of Minnesota and western Wisconsin representing the community.

Outdoor Celebration
The East Bethel Fire Relief Association had their 55th Annual Outdoor Celebration on Saturday, July 16th, 2016 at Booster Park West from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Fireworks were at dusk. There was a silent auction, and food and refreshments available for purchase. Live entertainment was by Good for Gary.

Senior Craft and Bake Sale, Lunch, Raffle, and Silent Auction; Inflatables; FOOD and Item Vendors; HeartSafe AED/CPR Training; Treasure Hunt for Kids; Pancake Breakfast; Blood Drive; Sheriff's Fingerprinting; FREE Petting Zoo; Turtle Races; Anoka County Radio Control Plane Club display; Bingo; and Tractor Pull. There was something for everyone!
