    The East Bethel Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Sunrise Business Breakfast meeting at Route 65 Pub and Grub on Thursday, October 11th from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Come and join East Bethel business owners, elected officials, chamber members, and city staff for a morning of networking and conversation. Topics include: state of the city by Mayor Steve Voss, and a presentation from Lisa Welter, MN State Director, Safe Families for Children.   2. University of Minnesota Extension, Anoka County - Dollars into $ense Classes

    October 11, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Anoka County Human Services Center

    This is a free 1 1/2 hour class on the basics of developing a spending and saving plan that works. Topics covered include: what money means to you, tracking expenses, putting together a spending plan, goal setting, credit, and where to get additional help/resources.   3. 2018 Meet the Candidates Forum

    October 11, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Majestic Oaks Golf Club

    The Ham Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the League of Women Voters ABC, and the East Bethel Chamber of Commerce invite you to a 2018 "Meet the Candidates" session. The event will be held at Majestic Oaks Golf Club located at 701 Bunker Lake Blvd. NE, Ham Lake on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. The candidates running for general election from the following offices have been invited to discuss the issues important to them and answer questions from the audience: House of Representatives District 31B, East Bethel Mayor, East Bethel City Council, Ham Lake Mayor, and Ham Lake City Council. The East Bethel Candidate running for Mayor is: Steve Voss. The East Bethel Candidates running for the two council seats are: Suzanne Erkel, Tim Harrington, Brian Mundle, Barbara J. O'Neill, and Jim Smith.The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
